Latest Adoption
Mr. Frisky Copper was adopted for free by Cindi in Grand Rapids. She is a special customer and really wanted a red toy poodle, so she was able to adopt Copper and give him a loving home. This is Copper at just 2 wks. (one of Nicholas puppies) He was 5.6oz at birth and just a beautiful dark red little boy!!
Copper's doing great. He weighs just under 3#.He got a clean bill of health from the
vet, and goes again soon for his next shot.
And he's getting a haircut from Becky tonight. He's a smart little guy. I taught him to ring a bell by the door when he wants to go out. It was pretty easy, I just ring it and say "outside" everytime we go out. Now he'll do it on his own, sometimes. He still uses a puppy pad during the night and when he feels like it...I alway's take him out on his leash, and he's a great little walker. We're working on sit, and "How are you doin?" (Shake). We're also working on no begging. He's pretty frisky at playtime and can be really funny. I'm in love.
I'll see if Becky can take a picture to send you after he gets his haircut tonight. He's quite fluffy right now, looks like a teddy bear. I'll write again soon, Cindi
